A Santa Cruz v10 with a failed seat tube. There is quite a dramatic change in wall thickness where the clamp area meets the seat tube. Under extremely heavy load, the force will concentrate at this point. We’ve tried to make the transition in wall thickness more gradual in our repair to distribute loads more evenly. To help keep the price down the paintwork was modified instead of fully restored.
